New Eyes

Throughout this past year, I started to notice that I often did not view my surroundings in a positive light. I asked God to let me see the world through His eyes. When I started taking photography classes this winter, God literally gave me a new lens through which to view His creation. After a few days of looking through that lens, I began noticing little details to which I had never given much thought before I had a camera in my hands.
Space took on a new dimension, and I began to see fascinating shapes coming from mundane objects.The ways in which those objects interacted with light utterly amazed me. I had to capture those moments to share with those around me. Now, I derive immense joy from being able to see and share with others this facet of God’s creation. I will always be grateful to Him for giving me a glimpse of what He sees every day.
